Overdokkse where a solo project from Argentina that plays a very depressive form of black metal and this is a review of his self released and self titled 2014 demo.
A very dark and distorted sound starts off the demo along with some depressive yet melodic riffing a few seconds later while the vocals bring in suicidal black metal screams and cries as well as all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them.
All of the drum beats are programmed while all 3 of the tracks stick to mostly to a very slow direction and when tremolo picking is utilized it gives the music more of a raw feeling.
Overdokkse played a style of black metal that was very slow, raw and depressive sounding, the production sounds very dark, raw and lo-fi while the lyrics cover darkness, isolation and depression themes.
In my opinion Overdokkse where a very great sounding depressive black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Isolated". 8 out of 10.
