The Devil's Sermon are a band from the United Kingdom that plays a very satanic and unholy form of black metal and this is a review of their 2020 ep "Rydwany Ognia" which was released by Putrid Cult.
Stringed instruments which also return on the closing track starts off the ep before going into a very fast and raw musical direction which also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams while the music is also very heavily rooted on the 90's era.
Keyboards can also be heard briefly while the songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts All of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them along with the guitar solos and leads also being done in a very melodic style as well as one track also introducing clean playing onto the recording, spoken word parts can also be heard briefly.
The Devils's Sermon plays a style of satanic black metal that is very raw and traditional sounding in the 90's style. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics are written in Polish and cover Satanism and Anti Christianity themes.
In my opinion The Devil's Sermon are a very great sounding satanic and unholy black metal b and and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Bądź nasieniem zła które zatruje świat" and "Ten który nie ma pana". 8 out of 10.
