Hordes Of Wrath are a solo project from Brazil that plays a very raw, melodic and old school form of satanic black metal and this is a review of his 2020 demo "Satanic Abominations" which was released by Nailed Nazarene Industries.
A very dark, heavy and melodic sound starts off the ep before going into a very fast and raw musical direction which also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams while the music is also very heavily rooted in the 90's Swedish style.
All of the drum beats are also programmed while some of the riffing also shows an influence of old school death metal. All of the music sticks to either a fast or mid tempo style as well as always remaining very heavy.
Hordes Of Wrath plays a style of satanic black metal that is very fast, raw, melodic and old school in t he 90's Swedish tradition. The production sounds very dark and raw while t he lyrics cover Satanism and Anti Christianity themes.
In my opinion Hordes Of Wrath are a very great sounding raw, melodic and old school satanic black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Satanic Abominations". 8 out of 10.
