Draagyn is a solo project from an unknown area that plays a mixture of experimental, black and doom metal and this is a review of her self released 2019 single "Majesty".
Acoustic guitar playing starts off the track along with some clean vocals a few second later while the track is very long and epic in length. At times the music also gets very experimental sounding along with some elements of doom metal in the slower sections of the song.
The riffs also add in a decent amount of melody while keyboards can also be heard at times and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard as well as the vocals being mostly high pitched black metal screams as well as the song also adding in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the music also having its psychedelic moments.
Draagyn plays a musical style that takes experimental, black and doom metal and mixes them together to create a sound of her own. The production sounds very professional for being a s elf released recording while the lyrics cover dark themes.
In my opinion Draagyn is a very great sounding mixture of experimental, black and doom metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this solo project. 8 out of 10.
