Ambroxiak are a solo project from South Korea that plays a very raw and melodic form of black metal and this is a review of his 2021 album "Detritus Of Elysian Creation" which was released by Wolfmond Production.
A very fast and raw sound starts off the album along with a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. The riffs also add in a great amount of melody while all of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them and the vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the music also adds in a good amount of Swedish influences. When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are also done in a very melodic style along with the riffing also having its technical moments and the album closes with a a keyboard orientated outro
Ambroxiak plays a style of black metal t hat is very raw, melodic and technical sound. The production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover Cosmic Failure themes.
In my opinion Ambrioxiak are a very great sounding raw, melodic and technical black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Utter Emancipation" "Cosmic Incompleteness" and "Intrinsic Grotesqueness". 8 out of 10.
