Endarken are a duo from Serbia that plays a very satanic form of occult black metal and this is a review of t heir self released 2022 single "Antihristos".
Apocalyptic sounding drums and dark soundscapes start off the song along with a brief use of chants before going into a heavier direction. When the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats and tremolo picking can be heard which also gives the song more of a raw feeling while the solos and leads are also done in a very melodic style as well as the vocals being mostly angry sounding black metal screams, the song also adds in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Endarken plays a style of occult black metal that is very modern and aggressive sounding as well as remaining true to the traditional aspects of the genre, The production sounds very professional while t he lyrics cover Occultism and Antichrists' themes.
In my opinion Endarken are a very great sounding satanic and occult black metal duo and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this single. 8 out of 10.
