Death.Void.Terror/To The Great Monolith III:Rifts/Sentient Ruin Laboratories/2026 Full Length Review

  Switzerland's  Death.Void.Terror  have  returned  with  a  new  recording  which  shows  the  music  going  for  an  experimental  mixture  of  black,  doom  and  death  metal  with  elements  of  occult  rock  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2026  album  "To  The  Great  Monolith  III:  Rifts"  which  will b e  released  in  September  by  Sentient  Ruin  Laboratories.

  Experimental  soundscapes  start  off  the  album  before  going  into  a  slower  doom  metal  direction  while  all  of  the  musical  instruments  also  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to  them.  Vocals  are  a  mixture  of  death  metal  growls  and  black  metal  screams  along  with  all  of  the  tracks  also  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length.

  Some  of  the  vocals  and  music  also  adds  in  more  of  an  industrial  approach  while  clear  singing is  also  utilized  at  times.  Clean  playing  is  also  added  into  certain  sections  of  the  album  along  with  a  great  amount  of  the  recording  also  mixing  in  elements  of  occult  rock  which  also  adds  in  more  of  a  ritualistic  atmosphere,  spoken  words  can  also  be  heard  on  a  couple  of  tracks  and  one  song  also  adds  in  a  small  amount  of  fast  playing  and  blast  beats.

  On  this  recording  Death.Void.Terror  takes  black,  doom,  death  emtal,  experimental  and  occult  rock  and  mixes  them  together  to  create  something  very  different.  the  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  Occultism  and  Existentialism  themes.

  In  my  opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  album  from  Death.Void.Terror  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  experimental  black,  doom, death  metal  and  occult  rock,  you  should  check  out  this  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Gozdyrey"  and  "Daphnyr".  8 out  of  10.
