Aezh Morvarc'h/Mare Humorum/Emanations/2015 Cassette Review

  Aezh  Morvar'ch  are  a  band  from  France  that  plays  a  melodic  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2015  cassette  "Mare  Humorum"  which  was  released  by  Emanations.

  Avant  garde  sounds  start  off  the  cassette  along  with  some  spoken  word  parts  a  few  seconds  later  which  leads  up  to  a  more  raw  and  melodic  black  metal  direction  that  also  uses  grim  screams  and  blast  beats  and  the  songs  also  bring  in  a  great  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  and  clean  singing  vocals  and  chants  can  be  heard  

  Synths  can  be  heard  in  some  parts  of  the  songs  and  they  give  the  music  more  of  an  epic  feeling  and  the  vocals  also  get  very  deep  at  times  while  some  of  the  melodic  vocals  have  a  pagan  feeling  to  them  and  some  of  the  tracks  are  long  and  epic  in  length  and  the  solos  and  leads  the  band  uses  are  very  melodic  sounding  and  the  last  track  is  all  instrumental  and  has  an  ambient  feeling.

  Aezh  Morvar'ch  plays  a  style  of  black  metal  that  is  very  melodic,  raw,  atmospheric  and  epic  sounding,  the  production  sound s very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  French  and  cover  the  legend  of  Morvar'ch.
