This is a review of the final installment of the self released "Beyond Ragnarok" album from Rotting Bull which continues their raw and crusty style of black metal.
Ambient and harsh noise sounds start off the first song and on the second track the music starts going fro more of a fast and raw black metal sound as well as adding in grim screams and screams that are kind of mixed down low in the mix but get more louder as time goes on by and you can also hear elements of crust, power violence and d beat in the song which is also very long and epic in length and also adds in blast beats at times and the song also uses a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and melodies can also be heard in some parts of the songs.
Rotting Bull creates 2 very diverse songs on the final installment with the first one being harsh noise while the following track goes for their raw and crust influenced form of black metal, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover angry and hateful themes.
In my opinion Rotting Bull once again creates some very raw and angry crust influenced black metal on these songs while also adding in a noise instrumental and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out all 3 installments that they have also put together as a full album on bandcamp. 8 out of 10.
