ProFanatism are a band from Poland that plays a very raw and heavy style of black metal and this is a review of their self released 2015 album "My Kingdom Come"
Spoken word samples start off the album before going into more of a heavy and melodic musical direction and the vocals also bring in a very grim and hateful atmosphere and after the intro high pitched screams are added onto the recording and the music starts going into more of a black metal direction.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they remain true to a very melodic musical direction and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts with the faster sections displaying more of a raw black metal style and the music also brings in a decent amount of blast beats while some songs also have a ritualistic atmosphere at times and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to t hem and the songs also go for more of a modern European style of black metal.
ProFanatism plays a style of black metal that can be very fast and raw at times while also bringing in a great amount of melody, atmospheric and playing that utilizes a great amount of talent and skill, the production sounds very powerful while the lyrics cover darkness and occult themes.
In my opinion ProFanatism are a very great sounding fast, raw and melodic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Dark Essence" "Ether of Hades" and "And Legion My Soul". 8 out of 10.
