Three Eyes Of The Void are a solo project from Ukraine that plays a very atmospheric form of black metal and this is a review of his self released 2017 album "The Moment Of The Storm" and the physical version of the album will be released in February of 2018 by Diabolus Productions.
Nature sounds along with some clean guitars start off the album before going into a very fast and raw musical direction which also uses a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats while the vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams along with the riffs also bringing in a great amount of melody.
Throughout the recording you can hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them along with most of the songs being very long in epic in length and when guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in a very melodic fashion and as the album progresses clean playing also returns on some of the later tracks, melodic vocals can also be heard briefly and one track death metal growls are also introduced into the music.
Three Eyes Of The Void plays a style of black metal that is very raw, melodic, modern and atmospheric sounding, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are inspired by the philosophies of Nietzsche and Plato.
In my opinion Three Eyes Of The Void are a very great sounding atmospheric black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Facing The Storm" and "Overcoming". 8 out of 10.
