This is a review of a 3 way split between Poland's Waroath, Czarna Trumna and Cthulhu Rites called "Black Oath Rites" which will be released in 2018 by War Productions and we will start off the review with Waroath a band that plays a mixture of black and thrash metal.
Their side of the split starts out with movie samples before going into more of a heavier direction where you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on their side of t he recording while the vocals are mostly grim black metal screams along with blast beats being added into the faster sections of the songs.
A great amount of thrash metal elements can be heard in the bands musical style while the fast riffs also use a great amount of tremolo picking along with the songs also bringing in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts as well as the riffs also using a great amount of melody and all of their tracks are very long and epic in length, clean singing and death metal growls are also used briefly and when guitar solos and leads are utilized they are done in an underground 80's metal fashion.
Waroath plays a musical style that takes black and thrash metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very old school while the lyrics cover witchcraft, demons and night rituals themes.
In my opinion Waroath are a very great sounding mixture of black and thrash metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "On The Lunar Throne Of Damnation".
Next up is Czarna Trumma a band that plays a very raw form of black metal.

When the music speeds up a decent amount of tremolo picking and blast beats can be heard which gives the music a more raw feeling while movie samples are also used briefly along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Czarna Trumma plays a style of black metal that is very raw and old school sounding in the 90's tradition, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover evil, darkness and horror themes.
In my opinion Czarna Trumma are a very great sounding raw and old school black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out their side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Saatana".
