Legion Of Satanachia are a solo project from Costa Rica that plays a very raw, satanic and occult form of black metal and this is a review of his 2026 ep "Lucifer Spear Of Antichrist" which was released by Underworld Echoes.
A very dark sounding intro starts off the ep along with a some keyboards before going into a heavier direction. Melodies are also added into some of of the guitar riffing while the faster sections of the songs also add in a lot of tremolo picking and blast beats which also gives the music more of a raw feeling.
Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams while the music is very heavily rooted in the old school era of the genre. Throughout the ep you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the solos and leads also sticking to more of a 90's style, growls can also be heard briefly as well as one song also being an instrumental. A couple of tracks also add in a small amount of clean playing and the recording closes with an early Behemoth cover.
Legion Of Satanachia plays a style of black metal that is very raw and old school in the 90's tradition. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Satanism, Occultism, Anti Christianity, Misanthropy and Hateful themes.
In my opinion Legion of Satanachia are a very great sounding raw and old school black metal solo p0roject and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Forgotten Centuries (Throne Of Moloch)" and "Ceremony f Christian Blood". 8 out of 10.
