Void Paradigm are a band from France that has had music reviewed before in this zine and on this recording goes for an avant garde, experimental and progressive form of black metal and this is a review of their 2025 album "Tout Ira Mieux Sans Nous" which will be released in December by I, Voidhanger Records.
A very fast and raw sound starts off the album along with a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals are done in mostyl and angry and grim black metal style while all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them as well as both of the tracks also being very long and epic in length.
At times the music also gets very experimental and avant garde sounding while the songs also add in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. Distorted style melodies are also utilized quite a bit throughout the album along with the slower sections of the recording also adding in the heaviness of doom metal.
A lot of the album also goes for more of a progressive direction along with the clean sections also adding in element s of jazz. Spoken words are also utilized briefly and the solos and leads are also done in a melodic style. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover nihilism themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding album from Void Paradigm and if you are a fan of avant garde, experimental and progressive black emtal, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Part II'. 8 out of 10.
