Mrakomor are a solo project from Czechia that plays a very slow and depressive form of black metal and this is a review of his self released 2023 ep "V Dekádách Dekadence(In Decades Of Decadence)".
Clean playing starts off the ep before going into a heavier direction while the solos and leads are also done in a very melodic style. Vocals are mostly high pitched depressive black metal screams along with all of the musical instruments also having a very powerful sound to them, all of t5he riffing is done on power chords and the whole ep also sticks to a slower direction.
Mrakomor plays a style of black metal that is very slow, melancholic and depressive sounding. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover depr4ession, melancholy and strong emotion themes.
In my opinion Mrakomor are a very great sounding slow and depressive black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Plague Beauties". 8 out of 10.
