V8L8T/Demo\Rehearsal 2023 Review

 

  V8L8T  are  a  band  from  Russia  that  plays  a  very  raw  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2023  demo.

  Raw  tremolo  picking  and  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  start  off  the  demo  while  the  first  track  is  also  very  long  and  epic  in  length.  The  songs  also  show  an  influence  of  the  old  school  era  along  with  the  faster  sections  of  the  demo  also  adding  in  a  great  amount  of  blast  beats.  

  

  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  the  riffs  also  add  in  a  small  amount  of  melody  and  a  small  amount  of  semi  clean  playing  is  also  added  on  the  second  track  which  is  also  an  instrumental.

  VL8T  plays  a  style  of  black  metal  that  is  very  raw  and  aggressive  sounding.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  cover  warrior  themes.

  In  my  opinion  V8L8T  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  black  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  demo.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Paths  Of  Lost  Warriors".  8  out  of  10.
