Raw tremolo picking starts off the album while the riffs also add in a decent amount of melody and most of the tracks are also very long and epic in length. Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams along with the solos and leads also being done in a very melodic style and the recording also has its atmospheric moments.
Clear pagan vocals are also used at times while the faster sections of the songs also add in a decent amount of blast beats. Throughout the album you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with some tracks also adding in a small amount of clean playing and folk instruments which also adds in some medieval touches, all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them as well as one song also being an instrumental.
On this recording Hanternoz continue to expand on the epic and atmospheric style of pagan black metal that they have introduced on previous releases. The production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in French and cover the Devils of Breton Folklore.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Hanternoz and if you are a fan of epic and atmospheric black metal, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Sur le Chemin des fees" "La Peste a Limoges" and "Quand j'ai tue le Rol de lqa Foret". 8 out of 10.
