GoatPenis are a band from Brazil that plays a hybrid of black, war, goat and death metal and this is a review of their 2004 album "Semen-1992-Anno Dommini" which was released by Infernus Rex.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars and at times they have a very powerful sound.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast raw and primitive riffs that combine elements of war, goat, black and death metal together to create a sound of their own, while the lead guitars are very chaotic, raw and primitive sounding black/death metal guitar solos and leads.
Vocals range from high pitched black metal screams and deep death/goat metal growls along with some samples being thrown into the music, while the lyrics cover Satanism, Demons and Anti Christian themes, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primitive sound to it while you can still hear all of the musical instruments that are present on t his recording.
In my opinion GoatPenis are a very great sounding raw and primitive mixture of black, war, goat and death metal and if you are a fan of this style of music, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Demons Spit Fire" "Desecration To The Holy Mother" "Demoniac Sacrifice" and "Waveroose". RECOMMENDED BUY.
