Werwolf are a band from Germany that plays a very raw, old school, blasphemous and satanic form of black metal and this is a review of their 2026 album "Satanic Terror" which will be released in April by Dominance Of Darkness.
Raw tremolo picking starts off the album while the faster sections of the songs also add in a great amount of blast beats. Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams while the music is very heavily rooted in the 90's era of the genre and some of the riffing also adds in small amount of dark sounding melodies.

Throughout the album you can also hear a hood mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the vocals also have their grim moments. When guitar solos and leads are finally introduced they are also done in a very chaotic yet old school style and the whole recording also sticks to a heavier direction.
Werwolf plays a style of black metal that is very raw and aggressive in the mid 90's tradition of t he genre. The production sounds very raw and old school while the lyrics cover Satanism, Blasphemy and Death themes.
In my opinion Werwolf are a very great sounding raw, old school and satanic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDE D TRACKS INCLUDE "Satanic Terror" "Temple Of No Light" and "Infernal Devotion". 8 out of 10.
