Sacrocurse are an international band with members from both Turkey and Mexico that plays a bestial form of black/death metal and this is a review of their 2013 cassette "Sulphur Blessing" which was released by Iron Bonehead Productions.
"Sacrocurse Temple" starts off with blast beats, fast and primitive riffing and bestial screams/growls staying in that direction for a minute before slowing down for a bit before getting fast again and adding in a chaotic sounding guitar solo while also returning the vocals as well as the switch's back and forth between the slow and fast parts.
"Command Demonic Prayers" starts off with blast beats, fast riffs and screams which also lead to some growls and after awhile t he song adds in mid paced sections and guitar leads while retaining the faster elements.
"Sulphur Blessing" starts off with blast beats, fast war metal riffs that lead to the screams and after awhile deep demonic growls make their way into the song for a few seconds before going into a more heavy mid paced section while keeping the fast parts around and adding in some guitar solos with the blast beats before reverting back to the rhythm's and screams.
"C.O.N.V.U.S.E" starts off with powerful drums and fast black/death metal guitar riffs before adding in the screams and growls and going into a more heavy mid paced direction while also going back to the faster parts at times and adding in guitar solos in certain parts.
Song lyrics cover darkness and occult themes, while the production has a very heavy, raw and primitive sound with the bass playing being mixed down low in the mix.
In my opinion Sadocurse are a very great sounding heavy and primitive bestial black/death metal band and if you are a fan of t his musical genre, you should check out this cassette. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Sacrocurse Temple" and "Sulphur Blessing". RECOMMENDED BUY.
