Nedxxx are a band from an unknown location that plays a very dissonant form of occult form of black metal and this is a review of their self titled 2019 album which will be released on December 13th by Norma Evangelium Diaboli.
Drum beats start off t he album along with some dissonant style riffing a few seconds later while the music also had an avaqnt garde touch. During the faster sections of the songs a decent amount of blast beats can be heard while the vocals are done in more of a blackened death metal style.
Spoken word samples are also added into some parts of the music while clean vocals can also be heard at times. Shouting vocals are also utilized at times along with the musical also having its technical and progressive moments as well as the guitar solos and leads also demonstrating a great amount of talent and skill.
At times some of the songs also gets very experimental sounding bringing in influences from other genres of the music as well as the tracks also having their ritualistic moments along with a brief use of shamanistic and tribal sounding percussion., all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and all of the tracks sound very different from each other. The production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover the darker side of the Qabalah.
In my opinion Nedxxx are a very great sounding occult black metal band and if you are looking for something that is very different, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "1" "^" and "8". 8 out of 10.
