Langor/Inferno Astral/Necroeucharist Productions/2022 Demo Review

 

  Langor  are  a  duo  from  Brazil  that  plays  a  very  raw  and  old  school  form  of  black  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2022  demo  "inferno  Astral"  which  was  released  by  Necroeucharist  Productions.

  A  very  dark  synth  orientated  intro  starts  off  the  demo  before  going  into  a  very  fast  and r aw  musical  direction  which  also  utilizes  a  great  amount  of  tremolo  picking  and  blast b eats.  Vocals  are  mostly  high  pitched  black  metal  screams  while  the  music  is  also  very  heavily  rooted  in  the  90's  era,

  Throughout  the  recording  you  can  also  hear  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts  while  melodies  can  also  be  heard  in  some  of  the  guitar  riffing.  and  the  whole  recording  also  avoids  the  use  of  any  solos  and  leads  to  focus  more  on  a  heavier  direction.

  Langor  plays  a  style  of  black  metal  that  is  very  raw  and  old  school  in  the  90's  tradition.  The  production  sounds  very  dark  and  raw  while  the  lyrics  are  written  in  Portuguese  and  cover  dark  themes.

   In  my  opinion  Langor  are  a  very  great  sounding  raw  and  old  school  black  emtal  duo  and  if  you  are  a f an  of t his  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out  this  duo.  RECOMMENDED  TRACK  "Peste".  8 out  of  10.
