De L' Enfer are a band from India that plays a very lo-fi, raw and primitive form of depressive black metal and this is a review of their 2012 ep "Quand La Not Devore" which was released by Impereial Damnation Records.
Drums programming ranges from slow, mid paced to fast beats which adds a dark atmosphere, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with primitive black metal riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars, as for the synths they are only used on t he last song and they bring a dark, atmospheric and evil sound to the recording.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are very dark, raw and primitive sounding with some depressive elements and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.
Vocals are all grim sounding black metal screams, while the lyrics cover Satanism, Occultism and Darkness, as for the production it has a very dark, lo-fi, raw and primitive sound to it which almost sounds like it was recorded on a cassette tape.
In my opinion De L' Enfer are a very great sounding lo-fi, raw and primitive satanic black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should c heck out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Cursed Forest" and "As The Blood Gets Spilled". RECOMMENDED BUY.
