This is a review of another demo from Minenwerfer called "Alle Beuhigen Sich der West Voderseite" which was released in 2009 and continues their brutal hybrid of war and black metal.
Drum programming ranges from slow, mid paced to fast beats and they sound as brutal as a real drum kit, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars and at times they have a very powerful sound to them.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that are very heavy, brutal, raw and primitive sounding combining war and black metal together to create a sound of their own with some thrash and death elements, while the lead guitars are very chaotic sounding war metal guitar solos and leads that utilize some melody at times, as for the acoustic guitars they use only used briefly and they use finger picking and full chords to add more variety to the music.
Vocals are all grim sounding war/black metal screams as well as a brief use of spoken word samples, while the lyrics cover the violent aspects of World War I, as for the production it has a very heavy, brutal, dark, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion this is another great sounding demo from Minenwerfer and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "No Surrender" and "Through The Scope". RECOMMENDED BUY.
