Arsonists Of Lucifer are a band from Sweden that plays a very militant form of black metal and this is a review of their 2020 album "Prophecy Of Hate" which will be released on cassette in August by Void Wanderer Productions.
High pitched black metal screams start off the album along with some dark and heavy riffing a few seconds later. Melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing while some of the riffing also shows an influence of thrash metal and the first wave era and when the music speeds up blast beats can also be heard.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the tremolo picking also gives the songs more of a raw feeling when it is utilized. Only a small amount of melody can be heard in some of the guitar riffing as well as couple of tracks also adding in a brief use of spoken word samples, a couple of the songs is also very long and epic in length and clean playing can also be heard briefly
Arsonists Of Lucifer plays a style of militant black metal that is very raw and chaotic sounding. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Satanism, Misanthropy, Anti Religion and death themes.
In my opinion Arsonists Of Lucifer are a very great sounding militant black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this cassette. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Eternal Hell" "False Prophets" and "s Death Marches On". 8 out of 10.
