Duch Czerni are a band from Poland that plays a very raw form of depressive black metal and this is a review of their 2016 demo "Reality Of Black Spirits" which was released by War Productions.
Acoustic guitar playing starts off the demo along with some drum beats a few seconds later before going into a heavier direction along with some high pitched depressive black metal screams and the solos and leads are also done in a very dark yet melodic direction along with some angry spoken shouts also being utilized at times.
A small amount of melody can be heard in the guitar riffing and there is also a brief use of stringed instruments and acoustic guitars are also utilized on some of the other songs and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can also be heard which also gives the music more of a raw black metal feeling while most of the music sticks to a slower direction.
Duch Czerni plays a style of black metal that is very raw and depressive sounding, the production sounds very dark and r aw while the lyrics are written in Polish and cover melancholy, grimness, and darkness.
In my opinion Duch Czerni are a very great sounding raw and depressive black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Cienie" and "Aura Melancholli Posepna". 8 out of 10.
