Sacrament Ov Impurity are a band from Mount Vernon, Washington that has recently been featured in this zine with a musical style that I would describe as being raw and primitive sounding black metal and this is a review of their self released 2012 promo.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being thrown into the music at times, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are very raw and primitive sounding with some dark sounding melodies being thrown into the riffing at times which shows alot of improvement from the recent demo as well as a brief use of soft and clean playing and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.
Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams along with a brief use of deeper vocals, while the lyrics cover occult and esoteric themes, as for the production it has a very raw and primitive sound while still showing a great amount of improvement from the previous recordings in addition some of the songs are long and epic in length.
In my opinion this is another great recording from Sacrament Ov Impurity which shows a great amount of improvement from the previous demo and if you are a fan of raw and primitive sounding, you should check out this promo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Serpent Ov Dying Stars" and "Silence Of Chaos". RECOMMENDED BUY.
