Jute Gyte/Verstiegenheit/Jeshimoth Entertainment/2011 CD Review

This  is  a  review  of  another  recording from  Jute  Gyte  with  the  musical  style  being  a  raw  and  primitive  from  of  depressive  black  metal  with  the  album  being  called  "Verstiegenheit"  and  released  by  Jeshmoth  Entertainment.

Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  some  blast  beats  being  utilized  at  times  as  well  as  some  drum  programming,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars  and  at  times  they  have  a  very  powerful  sound  to them,  as  for  the  synths  which  are  only  utilized  briefly  bring  a  very  dark,  avant  garde  and  ambient  sound  to  the  recording.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  depressive  black  metal  riffs  that  are  very  raw  and  primitive  sounding  with  some  dark  sounding  melodies  being  thrown  into  the  riffing  as  well  as  a  brief  use  of  soft  and  clean  playing,  while  the  lead  guitars  are  very  dark  sounding  depressive  black  metal  guitar  solos  and  leads.

Vocals  are  all  high  pitched  depressive  black  metal s creams,  while  the  lyrics  cover  darkness,  depression  and  sorrow,  as  for t he  production  it  has  a  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sound  with  the  songs  being  very  long  and  epic  in  length  and  you  can  hear  all  of  the  musical  instruments  that  are  present  on  this  recording..

In  my   opinion  this  is  another  great  sounding  album  from  Jute  Gyte  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  depressive  black  metal,  you  should  check  out  this  recording.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Gates   Of  Day  And  Night"  "The  Light  That  Hangs  Above  The  Fields"  and  "The  Frailty  Of  Everything  Revealed".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
