This is a review of another recording from Nefaria with the musical style being raw and primitive sounding atmospheric black metal with the cassette being self released in 2013 under the name "Demo II".
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being utilized at times, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars, as for the synths they are only used briefly to enhance the dark atmosphere of the demo without being a lead instument.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast atmospheric black metal riffs that are very dark, raw and primitive sounding in the true old school tradition as well as some melody being thrown into the riffing at times and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.
Vocals are all grim sounding black metal screams, while the lyrics cover death, genocide and torture, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primitive sound with all of the songs being very long and epic in length.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Nefaria and if you are a fan of raw and primitive atmospheric black metal, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "As A Dying And Never Repeated Echo" and "Buried Within The Chambers Of Madness". RECOMMENDED BUY.
