Revenants in Poveglia where a 1 man band from Springfield, Oregon that played a very grim, raw and primitive from of black metal and this is a review of their 2011 demo "Lazzretto" which was released by Glossolalia Records.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with a great amount of blast beats being thrown into the music, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are very raw and primitive sounding with some war metal elements being thrown into the riffing at times and there are no guitar solos or leads present on this recording.
Vocals range from grim sounding black metal screams, deep growls and some melodic singing, while the lyrics cover hauntings and paranormal themes, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primitive sound to it.
In my opinion Revenants In Poveglia where a very great sounding grim, raw and primitive black metal project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "A Tormentare" and "Incendi". RECOMMENDED BUY.
