Fifth To Infinity are a band from Sweden that plays blackened dark metal and this is a review of their album "Omnipotent Transdimensoul Soulfire" which will be rleeased in 2016 by Avantgarde Music.
A very dark and melodic sound starts off the album and after the intro clean guitars and grim black metal screams are added into the music along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them and a few seconds the music gets heavy and the solos and leads also use a great amount of melody.
At times the music gets atmospheric and the music also alternates between both clean and heavy parts and the riffs also mix in a great amount of doom and death metal element and they also mix in growls at times and some of the tracks are very long and epic in length and the music also gets more progressive as the album progresses and all of the songs stick to a very slow or mid paced musical direction.
Fifth To Infinity plays an atmospheric style of dark/black metal that also mixes in elements of death, doom and progressive metal to create an original style of their own, the production sounds very powerful while the lyrics cover transcendental themes.
In my opinion Fifth to Infinity are a very great sounding blackened dark metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Reapers Wake" "The Will To Harm" and "The Promise Of Abyss". 8 out of 10.
