This is a review of a split ep between Greece's Wargrinder and Hate Manifesto called "As The Conquer Descended/The Gospel Of Extinction" which was released by Fistbang Records and we will start off the review with Wargrinder a band that a mixture of war, black and death metal.
Their side of the split starts out with a very fast and chaotic war metal sound that utilizes a great amount of blast beats along with some grim black metal screams being added into the music a few seconds later and some of the riffs also add in a touch of death metal and the song is very fast from beginning to end, the production sounds very raw yet heavy at the same time while the lyrics cover war poetry and supreme hate themes.
In my opinion Wargrinder are a very great sounding mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band.
Next up is Hate Manifesto another band that plays a mixture of war, black and death metal.
Their side of the split starts out with a very fast and raw black/war metal sound that utilizes a great amount of blast beats along with some bestial growls being added into the music a few seconds later and the song also brings in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them, the production sounds very raw and heavy while the lyrics cover war, hatred and genocide themes.
In my opinion Hate Manifesto are a very great sounding mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out their side of the split.
In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding split and I would recommend it to all fans of war, black and death metal. 8 out of 10.
