Sulfuric Hatred are a band with members from New York and Maryland that play a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal with elements of grindcore and noise and this is a review of their self released 2023 album which will b e released in December by Sentient Ruin Laboratories.
A very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction starts off the album along with a great amount of tremolo picking and blast b eats. Vocals are a mixture of black metal screams and bestial death metal growls while t he faster sections of the songs also add in elements of grindcore and melodies can also b e heard in some of the guitar riffing.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them. One track also adds in a brief use of noise orientated soundscapes along with some melodic guitar leads also being utilzied briefly.
Sulfuric Hatred plays a musical style that takes war, bestial black/death metal, grindcore and noise and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover dark and violent themes.
In my opinion Sulfuric Hatred are a very great sounding bestial mixture of war, black, death metal, grindcore and noise and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUD E "Stacked Remains In The Charnel Pits" "Forward Our Legions" "Sulfuric Hatred" and "Prostrated Human Race". 8 out of 10.
