This is a review of another recording from Ekadzati with the musical style being ambient, occult black metal with elements of doom and noise with the demo being released by Milam Records in the year of 2012.
Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being utilized at times, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that are coming out of the guitars, as for the sound effects they are only utilized on the last song and bring elements of harsh noise to the music.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast black metal riffs that are very dark, raw and primitive sounding with some dark ambient and doom metal influences being thrown into the riffing as well as a brief use of soft and clean playing being utilized on the last song as well as some heavy distortion behind the riffing, while the lead guitars are very dark and melodic sounding black metal guitar solos and leads.
Vocals are mostly grim sounding and high pitched black metal screams along with a brief use of spoken word parts, while the lyrics cover Left Hand Path, and Tantric Buddhism themes, as for the production it has a very dark, raw and primitive sound with the 2 songs being very long and epic in length.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Ekadzati and if you are a fan of raw and primitive sounding occult black metal mixed in with elements of dark ambient, noise and doom metal, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Kaivalya". RECOMMENDED BUY.
