Syndrom Einsamkeit are a band from Germany that plays a very raw and depressive form of black metal and this is a review of their 2019 ep "Gottesvernichtung" which was released by Wolfmond Production.
Dark yet melodic riffing starts off the ep along with some spoken word parts a few seconds later while all of the musical direction also have a very powerful sound to them. At times the music also gets very depressive sounding as well as the guitar leads also adding in a decent amount of melody.
Vocals are mostly grim yet high pitched black metal screams while the faster sections of the songs also add in a decent amount of tremolo picking and blast beats which also gives the music more of a raw feeling. The songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with one track also bringing atmospheric elements onto the recording.
Syndrom Einsamkeit plays a style of black metal that is very raw and depressive sounding. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics are written in German and cover darkness, depression, anti religion and black metal themes.
In my opinion Syndrom Einsamkeit are a very great sounding raw and depressive black metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Andere Dimension" and "Raw Black Metal". 8out of 10.
