Blasphemic Plague are a duo form Turkey that plays a bestial mixture of war, black, death metal and noise and this is a review of their 2022 demo "Morbid Decimation" which was released by Chapel Detonation Productions.
Distorted amp noises start off the demo before going into a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals are mostly bestial growls while all of t he riffing is done on power chords and also avoids the use of any melodies.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the music also captures a very lo-fi atmosphere at times and the whole recording sticks to a very heavy and noisy direction.
Blasphemic Plague plays a musical style that takes war, bestial black/death metal and noise and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Goatworship. Blasphemy, War and Death themes.
In my opinion Blasphemic Plague are a very great sounding bestial mixture of war, black, death metal and noise and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this duo.
