Nuclear Goatcult are a duo from Turkey that plays a bestial mixture of war, black, death metal and noise and this is a review of their self released 2023 ep "Baphometic Vomit Genocide"/
A very fast and brutal war metal sound starts off the ep along with a great amount of blast b eats and tremolo picking which also gives the songs more of a raw feeling. Vocals are a mixture of high pitched black metal screams and bestial growls and the music also adds in a great amount of old school influences.
All of the riffing is done on power chords while the riffs also avoid the use of any melodies to focus on a heavier style. All of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to t hem along with the songs also adding in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts, elements of noise can also be heard at times and one of the tracks is also very long and epic in length and when guitar solos and leads are finally utilized they are done in a very chaotic style.
Nuclear Goatcult plays a musical style that takes war, bestial black/death metal and noise and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Baphomet Worship, Anti Abrahamic Religions, War and Destruction themes.
In my opinion Nuclear Goatcult are a very great sounding bestial mixture of war, black, death metal and noise and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this duo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Goatcult Attack" and "Walk To Destruction". 8 out of 10.
