Pandemonium are a band from Poland that plays a style they describe as being Satanic Dark Metal with mixes black metal with some death and doom metal elements and this is a review of their 2012 album "Misanthropy" was which released by Pagan Records.
Drums range from slow to mid paced drumming with not much in the way of fast playing or blast beats, while the bass playing has a very dark tone with riffs that follow the riffing that is coming out of the guitars and at times they have a very powerful sound to them, as for the synths when they are utilized they bring a very dark and atmospheric sound to the music along with a brief use of ethnic style folk instruments being used on one song that gives the music a Middle Eastern feeling.
Rhythm guitars range from slow to mid paced European black metal riffs that are also influenced by death and doom metal as well as a good amount of dark sounding melodies being thrown into the riffing to create their own style of satanic dark metal, while the lead guitars are very melodic sounding dark metal guitar solos and leads.
Vocals range from high pitched black metal screams, deep death metal growls that are very easy to understand and some clean singing with some spoken word parts being added in in addition there are some female vocals being utilized on a couple of songs that gives the music an operatic feeling, while the lyrics cover occult, anti christian and misanthropic themes, as for the production it has a very strong, powerful, dark, heavy and professional sound to it where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this recording.
In my opinion Pandemonium are a very great sounding satanic dark metal band and if you are a fan of this style, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "God Delusion" "Avant Garde Undergorund" and "Misanthropy". RECOMMENDED BUY.
