L'Infinito Abisso Dell' Anima are a duo from Italy that plays a very tormented, nihilistic, elitistic and depressive form of black metal and this is a review of their 2017 album "In Viva Morte Morta Vita Vivo" which will be released on October, 24 by Club Inferno Ent.
Raw tremolo picking starts off the album along with some melodic riffing also being utilized at times as well as a a brief use of whispers and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard while the vocals are mostly high pitched depressive black metal screams.
All of the tracks are very long and epic in length while all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them along with some keyboards as well as a small amount of spoken word parts are added into certain sections of the recording and the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts, clean guitars can also be heard briefly and as the album progresses a brief use of clean vocals can also be heard.
L'Infinito Abisso Dell' Anima plays a style of black metal that is very raw, atmospheric and depressive sounding, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics are written in Italian and cover philosophy and existentialism themes.
In my opinion L'Infinito Abisso Dell' Anima are a very great sounding depressive black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Spiragli D' Ombra" and "Vertigini". 8 out of 10.
