Paramilitant are a band from Turkey that plays a bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and this is a review of their self released 2022 ep "Emetic Spear Of Intolerance".
Apocalyptic soundscapes start off the ep before going into a very fast and raw war metal direction which also utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking and brutal blast beats. Vocals are a mixture of black metal screams and bestial growls and the riffs also add in a small amount of dark sounding melodies.
All of the musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them while the songs also add in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. along with the songs mostly sticking to a 2 and a half minute limit and all of t he musical instruments on the recording also have a very powerful sound to them.
Paramilitant plays a musical style that takes war and bestial black/death metal and mixes them together to create a sound of their own. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover occultism, rituals, misanthropy and war themes.
In my opinion Parmilitant are a very great sounding bestial mixture of war, black and death metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Rituals of Occult Blood". 8 out of 10.
