This is a review of another recording from U.S.A's solo project Asiratic Lithomancy which shows the music going for a raw and punk influenced style of black metal and the demo was released in 2025 by Elf Eggs and called "Blood".
A very heavy punk influenced sound starts off the demo while the vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams. A lot of the music also adds in an old school touch while the faster sections of the songs also add in a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats which also gives the recording more of a raw feeling.
One of the songs also adds in a small amount of dark sounding melodies while some of the tracks also add in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts. A later track also ads in a brief use of spoken word samples, guitar solos and leads can also be heard briefly and the whole recording also sticks to a heavier direction.
On this recording Asiratic Lithomancy brings out a very raw punk influenced style of black metal that is also more aggressive then the previous releases. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover infinite disgust at humanity's failure to realize it's protentional
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Asiratic Lithomancy and if you are a fan of raw and punk influenced black metal, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Arboreal Blood" "Leafcrowned Stillness" and "Joisted Ribcage Vault". 8 out of 10.
