This is a review of a split ep between Spain's Warslaughter and U.S.A's Red Right Hand Of Plague which was released by Elf Eggs and we will start off the review with Red Right hand Of Plague who returns with his mixture of war, black, death metal and grindcore.
His side of the split start out with a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals are a mixture of bestial growls and black metal screams while all of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them along with the solos and leads also adding in a more of a chaotic style.
Throughout his side of the split you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts as well as the music also capturing the brutality of grindcore, melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing as well as all of the drum beats also being programmed. Th e production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover war and gender themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Red Right Hand Of Plague and if you are a fan of war, black, death metal and grindcore, you should check out his side of the split. RECOMMENDED TRACK "The Fatal Throne".
Next up is Warslaughter who return with their mixture of war, black and death metal.
Their side of the split starts out with a very dark yet heavy sound before going into a very fast, raw and brutal war metal direction which also utilizes a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals are mostly bestial growls while black metal screams can also be heard at times.
When guitar solos and leads are utilized they are also done in a very chaotic style along with the their side also adding in a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and all of the music sticks to a heavier direction. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover death themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Warslaughter and if you are a fan of war and bestial black/death metal, you should check out their side of the split.
In conclusion I feel this is a very great sounding split and I would recommend it to all fans of war and bestial black/death metal. 8 out of 10.
