Uranium are a solo project from the United States and on this recording goes for a mixture of war, bestial black/death metal, harsh noise and death industrial and this is a review of his 2025 album "Corrosion Of Existence" which was released by Sentient Ruin Laboratories.
Spoken word samples start off the album before going into more of a heavier industrial direction which also adds in some harsh noises and power electronics. Vocals are also a mixture of black metal screams and bestial growls while all of the drum beats are also programmed and a couple of the tracks are also very long and epic in length.
When the music speeds up a decent amount of blast beats and war metal elements can also be heard while some tracks also add in some heavy and brutal guitar riffing. All of the musical instruments also have a very powerful sound to them, synths can also be heard in certain sections of the recording and each song also sounds very different from each other.
On this recording Uranium keeps the harsh noise and death industrial elements of previous releases and mixes in influences of war, black and death metal to create something very different. The production sounds very dark while the lyrics cover nuclear devastation themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding album and if you are a fan of war, bestial black/death metal, harsh noise and death industrial, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Traffic Warden" and "Corrosion Of Existence". 8 out of 10.
