Asiratic Lithomancy are a solo project from the united States that plays a very raw and punk influenced form of black metal and this is a review of his 2023 demo "Gale Of Encryption" which was released by Elf Eggs.
A very fast and raw sound starts off the demo along with a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats. Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams while melodies are also added into some of the guitar riffing as well as the music also capturing a very lo-fi atmosphere at times.
Throughout the demo you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while elements of punk can also be heard at times along with one track also adding in a brief distorted synth sound and the music also captures the raw aggression of the classic era of the genre.
Asiratic Lithomancy plays a style of black metal that is very raw and lo-fi as well as adding in elements of punk to create a sound of his own. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover pain and geology themes.
In my opinion Asiratic Lithomancy are a very great sounding punk influenced raw black metal solo project and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Birthed In Charnel Grays" and "Keys of Illicit Granite". 8 out of 10.
