This is a review of another recording from U.S,A's Asiratic Lithomancy which shows the music going for a very raw and punk influenced form of black metal and the demo was released in 2024 by Elf Eggs and called "Solitude Grotesqueness Ignorance".
A very dark, heavy and lo-fi sound starts off the demo while the vocals also add in a mixture of demonic growls and high pitched black metal screams. When the music speeds up a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats can be heard which also gives the recording more of a raw feeling.
Dark sounding melodies are also added into the guitar riffing at times while music also incorporates elements of punk. Throughout the recording you can also hear a good mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts along with the solos and leads also adding in a chaotic style when they are utilized , synths and spoken word samples can also be heard on a couple of tracks.
On this recording Asiratic Lithomancy takes his raw and punk influenced style of black metal into a different direction. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover occultism, vengeance and self-loathing misanthropy themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Asiratic Lithomancy and if you are a fan of raw and punk influenced black metal, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Piss Warlock 666" "Irradiated Graphite" and "Silet et Infinitas". 8 out of 10.
