Trivax are a band originally from Iran not now resides in the United Kingdom and plays a very raw and melodic form of satanic black/death metal and this is a review of their self released 2014 ep "The World Is Dead".
A horror movie style keyboard starts off the ep along with some ritualistic sounds and spoken word parts a few seconds later and after the intro melodic guitar leads become a huge part of the recording and add a Swedish feeling to the music and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them.
Once grim screams are added into the music the ep starts bringing in more of a fast and raw black metal sound that also utilizes a great amount of blast beats and when the music slows down you can hear a lot of death metal elements in the bands musical style and the music also brings in a small amount of clean singing at times and the songs also bring in a great amount of dark sounding melodies and they close the ep with an outro that utilizes clean guitar playing.
Trivax plays a musical style that is very heavily influenced by the Swedish satanic black metal style and also mixes in a great amount of melody and death metal influences, the production sounds very powerful for being a self released recording while the lyrics cover murder, destruction of the world, lunacy and Satanic Magick.
In my opinion Trivaz are a very great sounding raw and melodic, satanic black/death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Of Stone And Flesh". 8 out of 10.
