Now Everything Fades are an international duo with the members coming from Jordan and U.S.A and plays a mixture of depressive black and doom metal and this is a review of their self released 2018 album "Suicide Theatre".
Nature sounds start off the album before going into a heavier direction along with some keyboards which also gives the songs a more atmospheric feeling also being mixed in while the solos and leads are done in a very melodic fashion and the slower sections of the songs are heavily influenced by doom metal.
Clean playing can also be heard in certain sections of the recording while the vocals are mostly high pitched depressive black metal screams and cries along with the riffs also bringing in a great amount of melody as well as a couple of brief acoustic instrumentals, a couple of the tracks are very long and epic in length and they also bring in a cover of Xasthur's "Suicide in Dark Serenity" and most of the music sticks to a slow direction except for a brief use of fast parts which also use tremolo picking and blast beats.
Now Everything Fades plays a musical style that takes depressive black metal and mixes it with doom metal to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover suicide and depression themes.
In my opinion Now Everything Fades are a very great sounding mixture of depressive black and doom metal and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this duo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "The Aesthetic Bullet" "The Slit-Wrist Gallery" and "The Pills of Salvation". 8/5 out of 10.
