Black Trinity are a band from Cleveland, Ohio that plays an old school form of black metal with elements of thrash and this is a review of their 2005 album "Demonic Pleasures" which was released by Apocalyptic Records.
A very dark and heavy sound starts off the album while the faster sections of the songs also bring in a great amount of tremolo picking and blast beats which also gives the music more of a raw feeling along with the vocals being mostly grim yet high pitched black metal screams as well as the riffs also utilizing melody at times.
Throughout the recording you can also hear a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts while the solos and leads are done in a very melodic style along with all of the musical instruments having a very powerful sound to them as well as the music also bringing in a great amount of 90's influences, elements of thrash are also added into the guitar riffing at times and the music also always remains heavy.
Black Trinity plays a style of black metal that is very raw and melodic in the 90's tradition while also mixing in elements of thrash to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Satanism, Anti Religion, Evil, Death and War themes.
In my opinion Black Trinity are a very great sounding old school black metal band and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this album. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Abysmal Abomination" "Black Trinity" Demonic Pleasures" and "Frozen North". 8 out of 10.
