This is a review of another recording from Ukraine's solo artist Ieschure which continues the occult black metal style of her previous release and the ep was released in 2020 by Les Fleurs du Mal Productions and called "Cold Stars Of Eternity".
Keyboards along with some heavy lo-fi riffing starts off the ep while the solos and leads are also done in a very melodic style. When percussion's are utilized they also give the music more of a ritualistic feeling along with the riffs also adding in a decent amount of melody and the vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams.
At times the music also gets very atmospheric sounding while spoken word parts and clear vocals can also be heard on both of the tracks and all of the music sticks to either a slow or mid tempo direction.
On this recording Ieschure takes her style of occult black metal into more of a mid paced direction. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Occultism, Witchcraft and Death themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Ieschure and if are a fan of occult black metal, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "In The Waves Of Darkness". 8 out of 10.
