This is a review of another recording from Ukraine's solo artist Ieschure which continues the occult black metal style of previous releases and the ep was released in 2020 by Jems Label and called "Phantoms Of God".
A very dark, heavy and melodic sound starts off the ep while the solos and leads also add in a great amount of melody. Vocals are mostly high pitched black metal screams as well as some clear singing also being utilized at times along with all of the drum beats also being programmed and spoken word parts can also be heard at times.
All of the musical instruments on t he recording also have a very powerful sound to them while the tremolo picking also gives the songs more of a raw feeling when they are utilized. When the music speeds up briefly a decent amount of blast b eats can b e heard and acoustic guitars are added on the closing track.
On this recording Ieschure expands on her occult black metal style creating something very different from previous releases. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Occultism, Witchcraft and Death themes.
In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Ieschure and if you are a fan of occult black metal, you should check out this ep. RECOMMENDED TRACK "Phantoms Of God". 8 out of 10.
